Screen Pops Feature automatically displays information about a caller, including their name, phone number, and reservation details, when they call in.

Setting Up Your Screen Pops Feature

1. Access Screen Pop Settings 0:00

  • Welcome to the tutorial on setting up the Screen Pop feature.
  • This guide will provide a broad overview of the setup process.

2. Add an Endpoint 0:12

  • Navigate to the Screen Pops section.
  • Click on ‘Add’ to add an additional endpoint if none are present after enabling it.

3. Select Phone Model 0:20

  • Choose your phone model from the list.
  • If using RingCentral, log in when prompted.

4. Configure Extensions 0:35

  • After logging in, select your available extensions.
  • Assign an extension name or number.

5. Input Phone Details 0:45

  • For example, if using a Yalink phone:
    • Enter the phone model and MAC address.

6. Phone Setup Instructions 0:54

  • Click the ‘Phone Setup’ button for detailed setup instructions.
  • Copy the provided URL and paste it into the incoming call URL field.

  • Different phone systems have different guides.
  • For Grandstream users, click the appropriate setup button.

8. Generate New Token 1:25

  • After saving, go to Resources > Employees.
  • Select your extension and generate a new token.

9. Configure Additional Features 1:36

  • Choose additional features to display (e.g., GPS integration, dispatch map, SMS tab).
  • Subscribe the user to the desired extension.

  • Click ‘Update Changes’ at the bottom of the page.

11. Download Chrome Extension 2:23

  • Search for ‘addons.la Chrome extension’ on Google.
  • Click ‘Add to Chrome’ to install.

12. Configure Chrome Extension 2:35

  • Find the extension in the puzzle piece icon in Chrome.
  • Click on the three dots and select ‘Options’.

13. Input Short Name and Token 2:45

  • Enter your add-on short name (not your Lumber Neighborhood Company ID).
  • Paste the generated token and hit ‘Save’.

14. Locate Add-ons Short Name 2:55

  • To find your add-ons .LA extension:
    • Go to Settings > Domains.
    • Copy your short name from there.

15. Test Screen Pop Functionality 3:11

  • After setup, load the dispatch tab.
  • Perform a test pop to ensure functionality.
